In August I started working with the exceedingly lovely folk at Bobbin Bicycles to help make their new Islington shop a wee bit special. They sell the most beautiful bikes known to man, and have been super good fun to work with. I sat in a pub with the owners in the summer and we reminisced over our cycling adventures in the french countryside. We all agreed that when we get on our bicycles the world seems a better place. The window illustration is a product of this conversation. The pen drawings were printed onto clear vinyl by the helpful chaps at Genix. I am currently developing the inside signage, exploring some hand-drawn typography (incurring massive bouts of hand-cramp) and wooden plaques. Stay tuned kids.
